got a group top scorer award for this season. quite a modest achievement from the previous season.
not really big happening in this league

TROPHY MANAGER:
attention is now focused on trophy manager. Although we still have to win an award & the start isn't that good either. Hope we do good & here's the GALLERA FC Logo

no game development updates this time. It's on hold for the moment, but defenitly not out yet.

Trophy Manager

At last a online football game I dream of

It's called Trophy Manager

Here's whats good about it.
.....It's hard to tell, It's 90% of what I have imagined.
It's downside is that it is a little more complicated than bgliga.
a good game requires a little complications, depending on what game you like playing

I guess I'll stop making this online football game hobby.
all Ideas I have is already found in Trophy Manager.

I haven't started playing it yet.
I read Its rules & It's all clearly explained & the game is well designed.

I think this is the endroad of this blog. I already found what I have been looking for.
a "close to reality online football game"

and I'll be going back to my real job & play some trophy manager

code & rules overhaul

Recoding for version 0.4 & 0.5

Major changes are made in the game.
for version 0.1 -> 0.3 (old source codes)
for version 0.4 -> 0.5 (new source codes)

version 0.4 is a total re-code,
while version 0.5 is a add-on modification of version 0.4.

What's New for version 0.5:

already in version 0.5
-each player will have skill sets
-gameplay will now depend on players skills
-tactic capabilites depends on players
-choose a forward, midfield, defender in your roster
to be in your advantage to win & prefered gameplay

to be added
- can change gameplay in every quarter
- can change formations every halftime
* using the same design for version 0.1 & 0.2 * 0.3

not yet realized:
- game is still in C. not yet ported to web

others:
- a new rulebook is to be created
- international game style(from ver0.3) is cancled
- you now create your own stlye based on your players & preference

latest version 0.3

I'll discuss the rules once again. for the version 0.3 update
version 0.3 is yet on the making. It is still on testing & debugging phase

Football by Quarter

project: computer game
game: football/soccer
display: command line text
language used: C

plans/upgrades: make it online

Rules:
1. the player ( as a coach ) will setup its teams gameplay
2. gameplays can be changed only at the beginning of each quarter of the total football matchup time.
3. the time frame is simulated & is scaled down from the original 90 minutes ( you only play up to 2-3 min in every match )
4. the game runs automatically every quarter.
5. In-game commentaries are given during the running game, this commentaries reflect your gameplay & the opponent's gamplay
6. winning the game depends on how the "player/coach" makes his gameplay against his opponent ( in 0.3, the opponent is computer)
7. mastering the gameplay settings will make you a success in this game
8. "how to play" is easy, mastering the gameplay tricks needs a little figuring it out
9. a team will have its own playing style & identity, depends on the coach, & Its selected training for its players

making version 0.3

some minor adjustments on version 0.2 and it will be ready for release
- version 0.2 will not have any new features to be added in development.

all new features will now be in version 0.3

here's a preview
- penalty kicks
- goal scoring commentary details
- teams will now have a distinct international style of gameplay

all rules of version 0.3 are additions to version 0.2, meaning all old rules apply.

I still have to check the version 0.2 software is equal to the version 0.2 rulebook.
if it complies then its a go.

Goal Testing


Team A & Team M versus each other using the latest version 0.2 (unofficial release).

Team A - human controlled
Team M -computer - random generated settings
both Team A & M follow the same rules & save equal capabilities
Team M is just a clone of the Human controlled Team A.

highest goals scored - 5
highest goal scoring game - 9 goals (total from player & opponent)
average goals of Team A - 1.4 at 16 games
average goals of Team B - 1.8 at 16 games
average total goals of player & opponent in a game - 3.25 at 16 games

formations: selected formation of player (Team A)
"N" - formation: balanced attack & defense formation
"A" - formation: attacking formation
"D" - formation: defending formation
A->D: formation shift form 1st half to 2nd half
